ESL / Basic English

This page is for people whose first language is not English. Every Christian needs to take part in missions!

WMU tries to help Christians understand God’s mission. It also helps them take part in missions—with love and excitement, and in ways that are beyond what is usual or expected! It is for women, men, teenagers, children, and preschoolers. It is for the whole church! Learn more about WMU! Learn how it can serve you and your church.

Missions Plan Book is a wonderful tool to help you learn about missions, support missions, and take part in missions, all through the year!

It is in Basic English for people whose first language is not English. It is also good for people who are new to the Southern Baptist Convention. And it is great for people who are new to WMU.

Monthly lesson plans in Missions Plan Book have teaching helps on the Web. August's plans also include Christmas in August!

Maritza Ocasio is a NAMB-endorsed hospital chaplain. She says, “There are many children with needs. In addition, our church has been ministering to a public housing community of scant resources where the children have big needs.” The devotional books are for patients and family members who must spend four to six hours waiting during cancer or dialysis treatments.
