Camps

Would your kids like to hike, sing fun songs, and learn about missions? Do your Girls in Action and Children in Action enjoy swimming, playing games, and studying the Bible? How about making new friends they’ll never forget?

If so, send them to GA camp, Children in Action camp, or another missions camp this summer. You may even get to go along!

What is the value of camp?

Should your group go to camp this summer? Consider these possible benefits as you make your plans.

Get away—Camp offers an escape.  Whether it’s time away from a difficult home life and unhealthy relationships, or simply a break from TV, cell phones, and video games, campers can get away from the distractions that keep them from listening to God.

Get connected—Relationships are formed as campers worship, live, play, and learn together 24/7. This experience creates a unique bond between campers and counselors alike. Children get to know their adult leaders as friends as well as mentors and disciple-makers.

Get transformed—The camp experience provides opportunities for life-changing decisions. Salvation, a call to missions/ministry, a commitment to daily devotions, and a burden for the lost are just some of the ways that God uses the camp experience to help transform lives.
