WMU Trips: Brittany's Story

More Than Just a Week: Brittany’s Story
Emily Killen

In May 2015, Brittany Hall found herself in New York City with a group of 30 other women participating in the myMISSIONSM national trip through WMU®. Just a few weeks before, Brittany had never even heard of WMU. Although she was seeking missions opportunities, she had never imagined herself serving as a missionary in the states, much less NYC. However, during her time on the myMISSION trip, it became evident to Brittany that the Lord had other plans.

Supporting CWJC/CMJC

To date, CWJC/CMJC program expenses have been provided through grants from the WMU Vision Fund.

A director and administrative assistant, both with other job responsibilities, are funded by WMU. To enable this nationally acclaimed "best practices model" to reach it's potential, an endowment has been established with the WMU Foundation. Interest from this fund will provide adequate staffing, training, and operating capital for the ministry. Our WMU executive director, Wanda Lee, enthusiastically supports the quest to endow this ministry and insure it's financial future. How can you help us reach this goal?

Getting Involved in CWJC/CMJC

Who can adopt a CWJC/CMJC ministry site?

Any individual, family, Women on Mission group, Sunday School class, ministry group, Acteens, GAs, youth group, civic organization, or service club can. In other words, anyone can!

How do you get started?

Locate a site in your community or state or select one in an area that interests you. Contact the site coordinator to determine specific needs and ways you can help. Here are some things you might offer to do:
