Explore cultures of the world during the Week of Prayer for International Missions!

RSVP to reserve your spot and join us for the Observance of the Week of Prayer!

Join us on Thursday, December 6, 2018 -- National WMU, 100 Missionary Ridge, Birmingham, AL 35242

 9:30–11:00 a.m.—

  • Experience different cultures as you immerse yourself in three of eight regions represented and pray for needs around the world.

  • Gain insight related to the prayer needs of missionaries on the field and how you and your church can be more involved in praying, giving and going.

11:15 a.m.–12:00 p.m.—

If you have a little more time, choose one of these great bonus options following the prayer experience:

  • Prayer Conference—Led by Jennifer Kennedy Dean, executive director of the Praying Life Foundation. A respected author and speaker, Jennifer’s book Live a Praying Life! has been called a flagship work on prayer. She speaks all over the country calling God’s people to discover the difference between a prayer life and a praying life.

  • Seeking Refuge: A Refugee Simulation—Learn more about the plight of refugees during this interactive experience designed to encourage a greater understanding about refugees, learn what the Bible teaches about our response, and explore ways to actively make a difference for the cause of Christ.

Plus enjoy light refreshments and shop the latest fair-trade items from WorldCrafts and books from New Hope Publishers, including Jennifer Kennedy Dean’s new Christmas devotional, Pursuing the Christ. Jennifer is happy to sign any copies you purchase on December 6.
