Olive Brinson Martin

Olive Brinson Martin served as president of WMU from 1945 to 1956. She also served two terms as president of Virginia WMU, 1925-1931 and 1934-1946.

As WMU's ultimate strategist, she reveled in joining, organizing, and administering. Parliamentary procedure ran in her veins; her mind was a world-sized organization chart. As the architect and builder, the crowning work of her life was the Women's Department of the Baptist World Alliance.
