Write in your own words an article of 350 words on "Why I Am a Tither," or "Why I Am Not a Tither" (whichever statement describes you), after you have studied Malachi 3:8–10 and Matthew 23:23, and other references on this subject. The girl should be encouraged to study the Scripture references carefully and to write from her own convictions.

Memorize the following and write out the meaning in your own words: Psalm 24; Romans 10:9–15; Psalm 67; John 15:1–14; Isaiah 60:1–3. (Use a simple Bible commentary and read passages in several translations.)
